Machu Picchu: Circuit 2

The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu is a cultural and natural area inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Circuit 2, which has become the most famous and most desired by tourists who come to Peru to visit the wonder of the world.
Circuit 2 is in high demand because it allows you to access the upper middle part of the Inca citadel, from where you can take the famous postcard photo. And then it gives you access to the urban area, which allows you to explore some buildings in the Inca citadel.

Is it really the best circuit?

Although circuit 2 allows you to have a general visit of the wonder of the world, considering it the best of all is a bit daring, since each of the circuits has something unique and incomparable. The correct question would be: is it really the best tour circuit for my tastes and preferences?

In addition to the spectacular view that Circuit 3 gives you, it allows you to visit the urban area of ​​Machu Picchu and visit its most important and beautiful buildings.

Advantages and disadvantages of circuit 2

All the circuits in Machu Picchu are beautiful. Obviously, to be able to tour the entire wonder in a tourist way, you would have to buy the 3 circuits in their 10 different combinations.

1. The most outstanding advantage of circuit 2 is that it allows you to access the upper area and have the famous panoramic view and then enter to tour it.
2. You can enter the Inca citadel through the main road that came from the capital of the Inca empire, the great city of Cusco.
3. It does not allow you to enter the highest part, that is, you will not be able to take the postcard photo or panoramic view from the highest part of the Inca citadel.
4. It does not allow you to visit the most important buildings of the Inca citadel.
